We are holding a Sporting Cup Shoot to celebrate 70 years as a Shooting Ground

70 years ago this year, in 1946, Westley Richards Shooting Ground opened to the public. Later in the 1950s, William Powell joined Westley Richards. In 1981 the shooting ground was taken over by Ian Butler who developed Hereford and Worcester Shooting Ground that you see today.

To celebrate 70 years since the shooting ground first opened, we are holding the Anniversary Cup shoot. This will be an excellent event consisting of 75 clay targets and will be held during the normal club shooting times of 10.00am to 12.30pm.

In recognition of the importance of the event there will be some impressive trophies and prizes for the top shooters. You are able to enter on either of the days shown below:    

  • Saturday 12th November  
  •  And/or
  • Sunday 13th November

Cost - £20.00 members and £25.00 for non members
