Ian and Gareth Butler would like to invite you to a fascinating evening event at HWSG on Thursday 22nd February 2018.

Doors open 7.00pm with a prompt start at 7.30pm.

Here you will be able to learn more about the life of a gun smith and tutor from Ian Butler and other highly experienced members of the local gun trade.

·       Steve Green and Dave Evans – Current curators of the Birmingham Gun Barrel Proof House.

They will tell you about the history of the Birmingham Gun Barrel Proof House first established over 100 years ago.

·        David Dryhurst - This master gunmaker is one the current proprietors of W.W. Greener Sporting Guns based in Hagley near Stourbridge.

David will be talking about his experiences in the gun trade and show you examples of their high quality workmanship.

During the presentations you will be able to enjoy a light snack from the cheese board along with delicious honey roast ham. There will be a vegetarian option as well. The bar will be open for you to purchase refreshments with the evening ending at approx 9.30pm.

This is a free of charge event for club members with a modest charge for the event of only £10.00 per person for guests to cover costs incurred. Booking for this event is essential and you will receive an entry ticket to confirm your place. Please can you include your choice of vegetarian or non-vegetarian snack with your booking to help us plan the catering.
